Ideal family, what is that? Well to be honest with you I don’t think there is such a thing as an ideal family. Families are all different some good, some bad. Each family is unique and its your family so you like it. You don’t know what its like to be in a different family so you have nothing to compare it too. So really an ideal family is just the family you are in, because it’s your family.

   My Grandpa is my true hero. He has done many great things in his lifetime. My grandpa was in the marines and fought in the Vietnam War. A couple years after that he lost sight in one of his eyes because of high blood pressure. Doctors thought the high blood pressure was because of stress in the war. Never have i ever heard him complain about losing his eyesight. If you ask him about he will say i was glad to lose an eye for this country. He also has the marine way of thinking. He uses lines like the hard we do now, the impossible takes a little longer. Overall just his whole outlook on life is why he is my hero.

yellow is a bright and happy color that reminds me of the wonderful days of summer. Like these yellow flowers. Yellow submarines are pretty cool or this yellow sign that attracts a lot of attention

Earth hour was pretty cool I thought because the whole world participated and you could see some cities that are always full of lights completely dark and turned off. It was also pretty cool because it kind of united the whole world for the common goal of saving this planet. If we don’t change our ways soon our planet will be scarred forever. Overall I thought Earth Hour was pretty awesome.

This football season has been a disappointment for a lot of my friends and I. Last year I was a star as were some of my friends, but this year not very many of us play much because of all the upper classman. After a home game in which i played 5 plays the whole game i was pretty upset and i quickly threw my pads in my locker and walked out. Outside all the parents were waiting for their kids and Everett Halcott, Jeff Halcott’s father came up to me and patted me on the back and said, “Keep your head up.” This however insignificant it may seem meant alot to me.

I like text messaging, it is very useful and i use it everyday. Maybe 100 a day or so to about ten different people.Text messaging doesn’t affect my writing at all because i don’t use abbreviations like lol or omg. I think texting has a part in school because i cant call my mom during class to tell her when to pick me up, so i text her. I don’t think it has anything to do with language because we talk exactly the same. Texting is great for advertising for instance: if you have a champs card, when you fill out the form if you put your phone number they can text you the deals they have. I don’t think texting has an affect on face to face or spoken communication at all. We still talk the same. Texting increases communication between people because you can text anywhere and anytime.

A blog is a way to publish your ideas on the internet so others can read it.I’ve heard of blogs before on the internet a lot.I’m pretty comfortable with computers and i can learn about them really fast.I usually get on the computer to study something for school or to talk to people on the internet.I don’t enjoy writing and I’m not very good at it, but it has to be done.My favorite type of writing is nonfiction because it is true.Everybody is concerned about teens using the internet because they can get into a lot of trouble and start doing the wrong things.The internet can be dangerous if used incorrectly.All my pears usually use the computer to get on myspace.I kind of like blogging as an assignment because it gives us a chance to write our ideas on the computer and post them.
